As an observer, one would hope that your measurement of w20 for a galaxy (which is relatively easy given a single dish telescope and some optical observations) corresponds somehow to that galaxy's v200 (which is relatively difficult or, rather, impossible). Here's what we get for our simulations so far:

So there may be a correlation, but I wouldn't feel comfortable saying that without more points. The purple points are the central galaxy. The red points are satellites of the central galaxies in the runs.These are probably contaminated by heavy particles, so you might want to ignore them.
